✝ JESUS SHALL RETURN VISIBLY ✝ EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM ✝ JOB 19:25-26 • ZECHARIAH 14:4 • MATTHEW 24:27-31 ✝

Brethren, the Scriptures thunder with one clear truth: Jesus Christ is coming back in power and great glory. Not as the humble carpenter of Nazareth, but as the conquering King whose feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4, KJV). Job knew it centuries before: “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God” (Job 19:25-26, KJV). Resurrection reality meets visible return.

Malachi paints the scene in blazing colour. The Lord whom we seek “shall suddenly come to his temple” (Malachi 3:1, KJV). Sudden. No gradual build-up for the world to debate on news channels. He arrives like lightning from east to west (Matthew 24:27, KJV).

The proud and wicked become stubble in an oven (Malachi 4:1, KJV), yet “unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings” (Malachi 4:2, KJV). Cross-link this to Revelation 19-20: the same Refiner’s fire that judges also heals His own. Mercy and justice kiss at His appearing.

Our Lord warned us plainly. After the tribulation, “shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light… and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven” (Matthew 24:29-30, KJV). Every tribe will mourn. Angels gather the elect “from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 24:31, KJV; Mark 13:27). Heaven and earth emptied into His presence.

The generation that sees the abomination of desolation will not pass till all these things be fulfilled (Mark 13:30, KJV). Yet the exact day and hour? Hidden even from the Son in His earthly ministry, known only to the Father (Matthew 24:36, KJV).

“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be… they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Matthew 24:37-39, KJV)

This is not date-setting speculation — it is urgent watchfulness. Neuroscience shows how fixing the mind on future hope strengthens neural pathways for resilience and long-term obedience. Scripture goes deeper: “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:13, KJV). Set your affection on things above (Colossians 3:1-4).

Believer, are you ready? The goodman of the house who knew not the thief’s hour suffered loss (Matthew 24:43, KJV). “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 24:44, KJV).

The Mount of Olives awaits His feet. The dead shall live. The elect shall be gathered. The wicked shall face the fire. Jesus is returning — visible, victorious, final. Maranatha! Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
